I am trying to create a marketing presentation using an offline website. I want to use an image scroller on the website. The ones that I like require java script. How can I get the java script to work offline? All of my files are in the same directory on my desktop. This presentation needs to be able to be installed on any desktop. Any suggestions? I really need some help..

What problems did you encounter? Your presentation being served locally should not make any difference.

Hmm well I tried two different scripts - the first one just showed a blank page and with the second the images didn't move. Maybe I just have to play with the scripts more. One more question (this is really basic I know but I haven't design websites in years so some of the little things I can't remember): When I'm referring to the folder where my images are saved in, do I have to include the drive in the address line? Like c:/desktop/images/ or can I just put /images/ ?
Sorry I know thats a pretty standard question...

You should definitely use relative paths, especially when you want to use your presentation on different computers, which might have different directory structures.
So, if your images are in the subfolder "images" of the presentation folder, you should just use "images/".
