Using Windows 7 RC1 (32 bit) on both Laptop and PC. I want to use the Laptop to access the Outlook program on the PC. I have already managed to access the printer from the Laptop, but i have no idea how to get to the Outlook program.
Basically, I want to only use one Outlook program from both computers to keep all data on one machine.
Any help as to how to tackle this gratefully received.:D

I'm not completely sure what you want, but here is the scenario I think you are in:
1) You use Outlook on your PC to manage your emails. You send and receive them from Outlook on the PC.
2) You want to use Outlook on your laptop, to manage the same emails which you do on the PC?
3) You can't do this currently, as you are using POP to access your emails off the email server and all this does is download your emails to your computer. So your laptop and PC are never in sync.
What I think you need is IMAP:

However, I could have completely misunderstood what you wanted, if so - sorry :D

Thanks a lot. I have already been recommended this and have tried it successfully except that I cannot find a way to download my incoming emails. Seemingly, I have to wait for Gmail to do this every ten minutes which I find inconvenient. Unless I can find a way around this seeming un-necessary limitation, I will still be looking for an alternative.
Do you perhaps know of a way that I have missed/overlooked so that I can click and download?
Many thanks for your response. I have been trying for days to resolve this. Basically I need to access the emails from either computer without deleting them until all operators are done with them. IMAP seems made just for this purpose if I can find a way to download emails at MY request. With gmail's storage facility, it seems ideal.

Frank
