Hello! I would like to start programming C/C++ but i don't know what tools i need. I saw this Microsoft Visual Studio and i found that there's C++ in it but it's way too expensive for me.. :(

Any ideas..?

Here is one good and free one:
http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html

Or you can try visual studio express edition, it's free too

I suggest just downloading gcc or gpp ( the gnu c++ and c compilers ). If you need debugging download gdb ( the gnu c/c++ debugger ). For development environment vim ( or gvim ) is a good editor or notepad++ if you don't like keyboard shortcuts, ( I use notepad++ whenever I can and gvim, gedit etc when I can't ). If you want a heavier development environment there is eclipse ( usually used for development with java but works well with c/c++ as well ). Eclipse is nice because it has lots of usefull built in features like cross referencing different files etc.

How about Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition?

It's free. That's what I use.
