Not sure exactly what you mean by "scan", but this script will read the entire HTML source:-

<script type="text/javascript" >

window.onload=function(){
var str = document.getElementsByTagName('html')[0].innerHTML;
alert (str);

}
</script>

No offense but it reminds me of the question "How can I use X to do Y? (http://catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#id307781)"

It is not how to do X using Y, I think u misunderstood me.

There could be ActiveX to do the scanning, and then what we need is to run it using JavaScript.

Or, there could be a way to build a client application that will do the scan, and we need JavaScript to run that (.EXE) application, and to send the scanned pages back to the server.

I do not have a clue what you mean by "scan using ActiveX", or "send the scanned pages back to the server". You say "but I mean to scan a paper using scanner." So use a scanner then.

I have shown you how to capture the entire HTML source of a webpage.
