View Full Version : Resolved z-index shonamelissa 05-12-2009, 02:32 PM Resolved. Thank You very much! ksanjanadevi 05-12-2009, 02:39 PM the content which you want to bring front should have more z-index than the content which display behind. abduraooft 05-12-2009, 02:47 PM I'd recommend you to remove all absolute positions and z-indexes, except from the logo(which is to overlapped with other elements), and use floats for making your 2 columns in the middle. In that way you don't have to puzzle around the z-index values. Have a look at some pitfalls of absolute positions at http://www.tyssendesign.com.au/articles/css/absolute-positioning-pitfalls/ shonamelissa 05-12-2009, 04:27 PM ksanjanadevi, the z-index for my logo and nav are larger numbers then the rest of the z-index's. Thank you for your opinion abduraooft, I will have a look into that now! :) shonamelissa 05-12-2009, 04:47 PM Hi abduraooft, I have turned left & right into floats and that works perfectly now! Thank you!! |
