type text out with JS

I feel like an idiot posting this, but I can't find the freak'n code to do this.

Basically, I have a block of text I want javascript to type out, as if there is someone actually typing the text on the screen. I hope that makes sense. I can't find the code anywhere, I used to have it, but now, AGH.

Sorry for the (what I feel) useless annoying post. And yes, I have searched.
