Howdy,

I am wondering the skill needed to add a leading icon in front of the web address eg the leading icon of "http://www.codingforums.com". Was is coded inside the web-page or there is some command for that? Many thanks for all in advance.

Kind regards

Its a favicon.

Code:

<link href="favicon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" />

Add between the <head> code.

I've previously written about this (http://cyan-light.co.uk/2009/01/favicons-youre-doing-them-wrong/), but for the sake of brievity, that isn't entirely correct. It should really read something like so:

<link rel="shortcut icon"
href="/favicon.ico" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon"/>
The MIME type uses the one actually registered with the IANA.
