Incompatible version of photoshop.

I just grabbed an old psd file off a cd that was created before the last time I formatted. I'm pretty sure I was using the same version of Photoshop, if anything I'm using a newer version now, but when I try to open the document I get a message saying it isn't compatible with the current version of photoshop. The odd thing is, when I'm browsing I can see the thumbnail of it and it looks fine. Anybody know why it is doing this and how to get around it?

Nevermind, I tried opening it in a few other image viewers, they all said it was corrupt. But it's okay, all I needed was the name of the font I used in it, so I opened it in a text editor and yanked out the font name.
