I have just this month finished a revamp of the Callisto Interactive website (www.callistointeractive.co.uk) to make it more streamlined with more features. I would like any comments on the site, but mainly I am looking to add new features and improve it. Can you suggest anything at all that could make the site better in any way?

It looks great man; really nice :) I particularly liked the curvature on the left edge of the right column, but the curvature on the top edge of the bottom row seems OTT - look at the bottom-right corner, where the two curves converge - that's a visual paradox, and it looks slightly odd, imo.

Now ... your mission Jim, should you choose to accept it, is to make that layout in table-less XHTML ;)

Should be interesting considering I have no idea how to do that!

Good job. I really like it especially the curved look on the bottom and right side. Very streamlined.

You did such a great job its hard to find anything you can add or change. Except maybe move to be XHTML compliant.

I went to the site hoping to see a visual paradox :( there's no paradox there :( the curves are fine, just like two pieces of kitchen worktop next to each other.

I kinda like the site design :)

and I don;t see why it should have to use XHTML and no tables if he's happy with tables.

simple error, forgot the html element at the top, at least on the front page.

Yeah I don't see why he should get rid of tables, they work fine.

However the reason i suggested that he consider going to XHTML is just because its good practice to start coding that way. Nevertheless HTML 4.01 is perfectly valid and will be around for quite sometime its just my personal belief to use XHTML.

Looks great... Some simple rollovers on the links might spice things up a bit... IMHO. :D

cheers

Excellent job! I second the rollover idea, and in my opinion the three info boxes on the home page lack clarity due to the use of a jpg; I'd suggest using box elements, background colors and plain text to achieve the same effect with better clarity and less bytes.
Apart from that: great site!

Just for the fun of it... :D Nothing wrong with a good challenge, right?
By the way: all the reasons mentioned over and over earlieron (ease of maintenance, flexibility, semantic correctness, using the latest standards, etc.) apply.
