View Full Version : HELP: Need to clean up site

04-29-2009, 11:41 PM
I just designed a basic site, entirely in HTML. It's a simple, informational site, and it should serve its purpose. However, I need to clean up the code (my copy of Dreamweaver crashed, and I used an older WYSIWYG program to put the site together). The site has tested well in a number of browsers, but I ran a test at WC# and it failed.

I'm trying to find the most efficient and easiest way to clean my site code (and I should probably add that I haven't taken any classes on XHTML or CSS, and I'm really in a time crunch right now).

I'll welcome any advice and suggestions to help me with this project.

A link to the site would be a good start...or at least your code. You've given us nothing.

Well, If you want to remake the site completely (Or at least cut and paste it) I reccomend installing pagebreeze. Nothing compared to coding on your own, but its good for what it is.

((You shouls also remove the failure of a credit note thay put on every page, hidden at the very bottom, under about 20 lines of <p>'s (Line skips, if you dont know HTML) Seriously, If your going to make a credit note, code it into the mainframe so it only shows when you publish it.))
