help with changing font color through xml

i have an xml flash video gallery.

the video, the gallery's title and description are being read by the xml.
the text fields in the FLA are dynamic text.

i want to be able to control and change the font color by this xml as well...
any ideas on how to do this?

I had this same issue and did not find the required help I need. After getting help with code and pinging around I tried somethings simple and this is what I did

I created a function for to access the color

function changeColor () {
colorVal = slghexcol[p]; //variable passed from XML
var newSolganColor = new Color("currentSlogan.slogan_txt");
newSolganColor.setRGB(colorVal);
}

[ slogan_txt ] is my dynamic text containing embedded font

That's it! Just make sure you set the field in your XML and call the function. It was less complicated than I thought.
