Hello,

my name is Jay Evans and I am starting a business ( SE Projects ), me and my partners are in the developement stages but thought that before we go live it would be great to offer some special deals including:

Web Design - Tailor made designs to your requirements.

Web Hosting - Inexpensive hosting with quality support.

Fashion Design - Some of the UKs most quirky and trend setting designs in specialised fields now expanding further!

If you are interested in any one of those or maybe something else please contact jamie@seprojects.com and we can arrange a deal and price that is suited to your exact needs.

JE.

Have you got a portfolio to show off your designs? That would tell us so much more than the limits of text ever can.

Hey,

thanks for the reply, at the moment I'm still developing an online portfolio but if you would like to see examples of my work please e-mail either jmevansdesign@googlemail.com or jamie@seprojects.com and I'll get them to you ASAP.

Quick Example -

What is that an example of? In order for us to see good useful examples of your work, we need to see live pages - ie URLs/links to those pages.

You make the comments:

Web Design - Tailor made designs to your requirements.

If it is to my requirements, it would be tailor made. ;) So to clarify your market, what sort of customers are you aiming for? what sort of content would you be able to build into the pages: falsh/video/other?

Web Hosting - Inexpensive hosting with quality support.

what would make your web hosting stand out above any other? means nothing if the service will be down often. quality support doesn't sell it for me, yet. what type of quality support would you offer; high/low/attentive/personal/other?

what are your USP's? Are you hosting on a reseller platform or are you running your own server?

These questions are not meant to sound cynical but, before I would consider using your/anyone's service, I would need to know alot more about it and these are just some of the questions that a client should be asking you. Others around here may have more questions.

I would suggest that if you post in a forum and thereofre are trying to sell your business products, it makes more sense to present it all in the forum rather than asking potential clients to email you. sort of, defeats the promotional purpose of the intial post, I think.

:cynical hatis on now:

I just took a peek at your home/holding page. very informative.

question: in order of importance, what are the key points a professional web page designer must fulfil?

I think that answering anything you ask will end in a red box but I'll try anyway (joke) .

To the red box = as I said these are "Pre-Launch" deals, hence why I like to deal with people via e-mail, in my opening sentance I do say that its in developement stages.

We build anything anyone wants into the webpage, our staff list is full of brilliant coders.

I can't present a blank page to the forum as you've pointed out, before the launch I thought it would be nice to offer people the chance to get some inexpensive deals, maybe it was a bad idea but doors is still open to anyone that fancies a chat.

jmevansdesign@googlemail.com my personal e-mail.

The example was a Fashion piece for Asylum Fightwear who I work closely with ( http://www.asylumfightgym.com )

Thanks for the help anyhow, I see your points and understand, thought I might be able to help a few people with some great deals before we launch, all on the off chance of course.

I appreciate you haven't 'launched' yet but clients do not buy blindly so we would need to see more.

If you have a good team of coders, they must have a portfolio already made. This portfolio would not need to expose anything about your new launch because it could be for work done previously but, without it, there isn't really anything of meaning in this thread.

The image you posted was just that - an image. It shows no skill in relation to web page building and so is of no benefit in this thread (yet). And the link to your own website page shows no following of semantic or up to date web page coding. No doctype. so we have nothing with whicvh to make us take a leap.

The link to your existing client is just a link to a domain registrar holding page.

Please do not think I am flaming you. I wouldn't do to otehrs what I would not like myself. But you have created an interest which is in danger of crashing because what little we do see, doesn't actually look as good as we expect from your OP.

My mistake on the URL, put wear instead of gym.

I did mention in my opening msg I do Fashion and was offering that also, hence the example of one area mentioned.

But you are right, I was wrong to post early, I got excited with all the new things I will be able to offer and posted early.

I genuinly thought people would be interested in some inexpensive hosting at the least and maybe viewing some work via e-mail, wasn't as big of a deal as I think the thread has got made to be.

I wont post anything again until the site is live.

Thanks,

JE.

the first link works fine now although the 'wear' link points to the same registrar as gym used to. Maybe you adjusted the dns.

Good luck with your launch. I may have sounded too critical but, really, I want to know what your product is and am (a bit) frustrated that I still can't see what your post was trying to drive me towards. I am keen to see your web deisgn capabilites whether, or not, what you show me relates to your launch product.
