View Full Version : Are these 2 ipconfigs compatible? EDIT:They only work one way.

Can someone tell me, are these 2 ipconfigs compatible? If not what is wrong.
Also I would like to find a printed explanation of what it all means. I really do need to find out.:confused:

Yes they are compatible, both of those computers can talk to each other directly.

Thanks Oracleguy.

They connect if I ping them and I can see the computers from each end. I can access the files on the Desktop from the Laptop but I do not have permission to get the Laptop files from the Desktop. All are fully shared and I have taken ownership of all folders and files.

Have you any further ideas. My brain is a vacuum at the moment.
