insertion and search into a xml file(javascript)

hi everyone...
I need javascript code for inserting values and searching for a value in a xmlfile like as shown below.
i need this script to be run in mozilla firefox browser.
So please write javascript code in such format...

Is the XML available as a DOM document?

I suggest you become familiar with DOMParser and XMLSerializer, as well as the Document Object Model Level 3 Core specification. :)
