Everything in my right column goes over each other.
I put a border around them so you could see.
You can't even see the #add me wrap.

Well, you have a few problems (check things out in FF) besides this. Your center div is overlapping everything in the right div anyway but we'll save that for later.
For now, try removing height:26px; from #searchpanel. This will allow your poll to drop below the news feed, but then you've got a problem with the bottom border being violated. I'm not sure I have time to keep working past that right now but at least you've got your content mostly visible again.
I'll also say that you can skip the float:left; and float:right; in the items inside of the right banner anyway. That probably isn't related to the overall problem but it's extra code you don't need.

Actually, if you remove the overflow:auto; from the center div it fixes the overlapping center div in FF, so while you're in there...

...and then add clear:both; to #bottompanel. That fixes the violation of the bottom border when the right content is dropped to where it belongs. Man, I'm good! :D
