On our office network we have My documents being synced and we have alot of issues with it lost files etc. How can I turn this off or Make it more like a mapped drive so its unavailable off the office network.

this is for XP
Double click on "My Computer"
Click "Tools" -> "Folder Options"
Click on the "Offline Files" tab
Uncheck the "Enable Offline Files" check box
