Here (http://romantaylor.com/) is my little web site.
I tried to make it as simple as possible, looking almost exactly same in all browsers and load quickly. Don't laugh at my spelling to much, English is not my first language :)
I am working on customer control panel right now, but I haven't decided if I want to keep this design, or redesign the whole thing. I am working on my portfolio right now, so I will add the portfolio page as soon as it will be ready.

I don't know if I should keep it simple or add more pages, descriptions and other things, what do you think? I need your opinions.

In regards to the menu on the right hand side, I think would look a little better if there was more spacing between each item. And maybe make it slightly more obvious that they are links.

You might also want to consider adding a portfolio page to show off some of the work you've already done.

Thanks for your answers. I appreciate it.

So far:

Fix mark up
Add portfolio page
Work on menu bar

What do you think of it over all? Good, bad?
Is something obviously missing? (besides portfolio)
I want to add many more things, such as more description of everything, customer control panel and other cool stuff. When I was designing this web site, I was only think of simple 3-5 pages, something like a little portfolio site, but since I decide to expand it by a good amount of pages I don't know if its really good idea to stick with this small layout. Before I start doing anything, I want to decide if its good idea to stick with what I already have or think of something else.

Update:

Fixed all xHTML errors, on all pages;
Validation passed.

Will work on:

Work on menu and ability to expand;
Add more informational pages and portfolio;
Add client control panel (don't have time to work on it now though).

I haven't seen my web site in old browsers. Can anybody tell me how it looks from old browsers? My web site is based on .png images (about 80% is .png).

Should I convert .png to .gif ? How can I make it load faster?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. You right, I will need this web site a lot. :)
IE 5.5, 6 are bad looking. 5.5 does not read CSS as it should, so content move around a little, and they both don't like .png's :(

fixing problem for one browser implies sometimes a lot of effort and in some cases is not justified. For example if your visitors don't use IE 5.5 or the number of visitors is very low( according to what you mean by "low") it is better to forget about fixing that and focus on what is really important. Watching your logs or a log analizer reports, like awstat for example, can help you to take the proper decision.

Well yeah, I could do that, but it would take me a lot of effort and time; I will rather do my php project and add more content. I will look into stats and will make a decision. I don't think I have many IE 5.5 and 6 visitors, but I will look more closely.
Thanks for advice.

Update:
Menu bar (added more space in between buttons)
IE 6.0 7% / IE 7.0 4.3% (of all visits)

That's funny, somebody was trying to guess my admin control panel =) You can see it in the stats :) (no luck)
