I'm a college student and we have a lan network for internet access so all the computers are registered to the same network. I was wondering if anyone knew how we would be able to connect one user's computer to anothers such as in a manner where we could play the same multiplayer game in a lan situation. please reply, thanks a lot

If your on a network, there might be a lan connection already set up.
If not then I don't know what else to do, but if there is a lan connection (it might be hidden or blocked out) there could be a method to get through.
(This post was intended to give you hope, it is possible)
Try asking your network admin... It would be wise to do so to make sure you don't get banned from the network because of illegal use (agaisnt the rules to play games on the network)
We got in trouble for playing Tribes 2 on the my school network cause it filled up the server logs with **** loads of text and such...
We got in big trouble, so we tried to build out own network ont he same network.. we got detention when they found out about it ;)
Good luck.
