Let me start again.
Dose any one know how to communicate to MySQL Server over sockets not though a built API?
Is it just as easy as connect to the given servers IP Address : port and send sql statements.
If not can some one shed light on the subject
I know flash can communicated down sockets so it should be possible to connect a flash application to a MySQL server.
Once this is done i will be creating an API that allows functions such as mysql_connect(); mysql_select_db;
and so on in flash this would be a big break thought for the flash community
and will allow creation of some powerful applications my self i'm thinking about using using it to create the next
YouTube to your desktop. and no web sites
