Complete beginner (Please Help)

Ok I am a complete beginner to web site making and I really do need some help because I have wanted to get a site up for a while now but lack the necessary knowledge on how to do it. Although I have put a lot of research into it still. I just feel as though if I tried to do it right now I don’t think I would be able to sadly.
So if at all possible can anyone please help me and please ask me questions so I can give you a better picture of exactly what I need to do. :thumbsup:

You sound like you have an idea for a site, perhaps you should mention it? Help us help you. What are your specific (or general) questions, you must have some to have come here.

Ok dude sorry for not giving that much information then and ye I know what I want the site to be but it’s how to get there that’s the problem lol.

Basically it’s a conspiracy forum website ok that’s out the way

and again I must stress that I am a complete beginner in this sort of thing(web site making) and I think I can get a site up but it’s the web designing that is the major problem as far as I can see.

I have no idea how to do it properly and any help in web designing would be massive help.

And sorry for not naming this thread properly then I will do in future or will try to anyway lol :)

So am I correct in understanding that you want to make a forum?
If so, I'd start looking into some of the good free forum software available.

Am I also correct in thinking you want a design of your own? Do you know CSS and XHTML? Why not just edit existing forum themes until it looks like the image you have in your mind? Again, I might need some more information to help you.
