nice coding forum graphics - How?

All the graphics especiall all those purple buttons looks nice. How were they created? Using photoshop, Illustrator? Where can I get those tiny images in those purple buttons; like the face in the profile button, multiple faces in the buddy button etc.

Prolly done with photoshop, you get them as standard with vbulletin

Should imagine the faces and stuff were drawn by them too
