Hi. I am building a site wherein i want the user to get redirected to a particular page.
For eg. its written as google (http://www.google.com).when you click on google, the back link takes it to google.com.

Is it possible to redirect the user to the google.com page but the addressbar shows it as http://www.yahoo.com....??
Is it possible to change the address information at runtime...??
if yes, how..??

why would you want to mislead your visitors as to what page they are looking at?

I agree. You're question raises ethical questions, would you care to expand on what you're attempting to do before we rule this as a phishing page attempt?

To actually answer you're question: yes.

I am not trying to perform phishing or some kind of hacking.
its just that there is a page whose information i don't want to display so as to maintain security.
there is this profile page which will have userid along with some additional info.
so when his name is clicked its page gets opened.
so i want the address info to remain the same except that the page should display the info of that particular user whose name is clicked...
so the site name would remain the same irrespective of the links getting clicked..

You can do this with javascript through ajax. Information will still be passed based on the user selected, there is little you can do to avoid this.
You should implement any necessary security on you're pages though, trying to blind link isn't a very good way to secure you're website pages.
