Hi,

IN desperation here for my brother who has gazillions of registry errors according to registrypatol.com software.

I have found regdefense and it says I have 131 erors in my machine. which registry cleaner do you recommend and are they definately correct in thier results or are they just justifying their position?

bazz (cynical today).

Be careful of making changes to your registry. Many of these "errors" may not actually be harmful to the operation of your computer. I am not sure what registry cleaner to recommend as there seems to be a lot of these programs around.

CCleaner is decent. I've cleaned out my registry with it often. It gives you the option to back up your current registry just in case you need to restore anything. Needless to say I haven't had to restore anything yet.

heh, thanks Aero.

downloaded and run successfully in three minutes, which compared with regcure (at over an hour), is pretty impressive.
