Site Management with Visual Interdev

hi,

What are the requirements (softwares/configurations)) for us to be able to direct access to our Live Site to edit our site by using Visual Interdev and how does the Authetication need to be done??

As I know, our site must be a FrontPage Server Extended web. Is it true?? What about if the Server Extended is not installed???

Not sure if you can manage a site using it. Sure edit documents with it but manage a site?
