Since people don't recommend frameset anymore what are other layout i could use that will make my media keep on playing even when user click to another page.
With frameset, I can embed media player to banner part or the left column part and use the right frame for source page. Am I making any sense?

Frames are not bad in and of themselves, the thing is that they can be easily abused, search engines don't always handle them properly and people can jump directly into the content without the frame for navigation, etc. It's up to you to decide if the advantages out-weight the disadvantages.
By the way, I really don't recommend having video or audio start suddenly without user control. You don't know where people will be using your site, plus it will eat bandwidth like a starved hog, both yours and your visitors. It's always better to have a "click here" and have clear descriptions of what it is. In there you can tell them that they can continue to navigate the site without the clip stopping.

This is a live radio website with chat room where people can request songs.
Chat while you listen to the music.

You are saying pop up windows, another window is open up right?
So there's no way of embedding auto play MP in CSS? I know iframe still doesn't work.
I like CSS style but this is one of the reason I dont like it.
I like FRAMESET style but one thing I dont like is I can't over lapped top ads banner like I can with CSS.
There's gotta be away with CSS or any other script to have music keep playing when you are surfing within that page.
