Remove clear:both; from the #bottomholder in your CSS. It seems to fix the problem in both for me. Let me know how you get on

Also you have lots of css errors when using background attributes don't use background for everything. use like this

background-image:your image;
background-color:#FFF;
background-repeat:no-repeat ,repeat,repeat-x,repeat-y;
background-position:center,top,bottom;

because if you have a background color and an image ie won't detect it unless specified like that. also heres your css code I cleaned some of it up for you like the background issues and a " ;" or two.
also you have two body tags "body & BODY" you can only have 1 attribute for the body alot of your css is being ignored by the broswers copy mine below and try it "BACK UP YOURS FIRST". also using standard name of divs
will help other people help you. things like #main_wrapper,#content_wrapper,#left_column,#right_column,#header,#footer things like that. Stay away from things like #floatright?
