Could someone tell me where I find a wealth of icons (.ico) ?

I assume you're looking for favicons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon), like the little "CF" on a green oval that sits to the left of the URL in the browser's address bar? Try here (http://www.google.com/search?&q=favicons).
