I am trying to place a .swf file on an html page with some text styled to the left of it. I can get it to float correctly (float:right) in dreamweaver, but when I preview in firefox or safari, my three div's just stack. The code for the .swf file was created from flash.

code:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
background-color: #0099CB;
}

.main {
height: 400px;
width: 850px;
float: right;
position: absolute;
}

.flash {
float:left;
height: 400px;
width: 550px;
}
.whiteline {
width: 2px;
height: 400px;
background-color: #FFFFFF;
float: left;
padding: 0px;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
position: relative;
}

.bodycopy {
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
float: right;
}

h3 {font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#FFFFFF; }

h5 {
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#FFFFFF;
bottom: auto;
background-position: 0px 200px;
line-height: 20px;
}
.style1 {
color: #D4E177
}
-->
</style>
</head>

thanks a lot. That is sorta what I was looking for, I wanted the white line in between the text and the swf file, not a white border. That might be the part thats holding me up. For some reason when i preview your code in firefox, there are two swf files playing.

Thanks I'll try and work with this now
