Hello everyone. I've decided to get my feet wet with the server stuff and setup my old computer as an apache server running on Mandrake Linux 9.
Now I need to set up the ftp server portion... proftpd was installed automatically but it's not set up properly. when I try to run it it comes back with:
Fatal: unable to determine IP address of 'bluephoenix.com'
of course I haven't registered any domain names at this point and I'm functioning with the ip number. I've checked the online documentation and it does't seem to help me any.
Anyone know what config file and where I need to modify?
