Offering brushes, palettes, custom shapes for download

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, I had no idea where to put it.

Well, we always see sites offering brushes to download.

And then on sites such as colourlovers, you can download other people's colour palettes and you can load them from PS, or if you click "open" on the download screen, it goes straight to your swatches.

And I'm wondering if it's possible to offer custom shapes for download? I was thinking just saving it as a PSD, but as far as I know, there are no image upload sites that allow you to upload PSD files.

Does anyone know how to do these techniques? Thank you in advance for any help that you offer!

Well these are hosted on the website's servers, surely?

Do you mean the custom shapes? I wouldn't know, I don't have a host and/or domain yet.

But that still doesn't tell me how to offer them for download.

If you have a host, you can simply put the file on your server and link to it. I don't see where we're miscommunicating.
