Hard to say what the problem is but it may be possible to increase the alarm point. Temp sensors on some mobos are rubbish unfortunately, I know a guy witha Vapochill and 42oC P4 and one with watercooling with 60oC cpu, 65oC system. In your case - ie you're not overclocking right? - if the machine is running okay then set the alarm point higher, failing that just don't use the program; if it's getting false readings then there's no point.

I haven`t overclocked, my processor.
Its an AMD Duron processor 1100MHz, it did give good readings for a couple of months but it didn`t last night.
I had the exact same problems before my pc caught fire.
my back room was warmer yesterday, than any room in my house.
thanks
