Selection color

is there a way to change my "selected text" default color to something else? I'm working with a listbox and i'd just prefer a different color. Also, my gut tell me no, but is there a way to make a list box without a border?

im pretty sure the selected text is OS stuff, so it may not be able to be manipulated.
and as far as IE goes, no i dont think you can remove the border from a select form element.

with 830 posts, i would be forced to have to believe you... i just thought since there was a way to change everything else in css, maybe selection color applies too.

i'll just have to make myself a nifty little workaround with, like... onselectstart or something ::scratches chin::
