Does anyone have an opinion or any experience of either Ashampoo Free Firewall for Windows or Avira's AntiVir Personal Free?
I have just installed them, but looking at the interface and logs of Ashampoo i'm not certain if it'll do the job.
Cheers.

I never liked Antivir's ad popup when you open it or close it. I'm the kind of person who needs one app that handles firewall, antivirus, and spam. I've tried avast but that only has antivirus. A while back I found Comodo Internet Security (http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/). The free version is just like the pro version without the support. I haven't found any problems. Its firewall is decent. It even has an installation mode that helps when you are installing trusted software. Rather than ask you about every file you can set it to installation mode and all files installed will be trusted but you could of course decide not to use installation mode either if you are that paranoid.
