I am not sure if this is the right place to seek help on this issue, but I am pretty sure it is HTML & CSS related.

I am building a blog, and hosting it on shared hosting. I am using the FREEmium theme (http://demo.freebiesdock.com) and wish to change it to my personal liking.

1. In the theme demo, you can see 4 squares with images under the heading "our sponsors" but when I use the same theme on my site (onlyinpakistan.net) there are empty squares and no images. The code is:

<li class="widget widget_links">
<h2><span>our sponsors</span> <small></small></h2>

<ul>
<?php foreach( get_bookmarks("show_images=1") as $link ): ?>
<li><a href="<?=$link->link_url?>"><img src="<?=$link->link_image?>" alt="<?=$link->link_name?>" /></a></li>
<?php endforeach; ?>
</ul>

How do I change or even view the links?

2. I created a new page on my blog titled "Test" (http://www.onlyinpakistan.net/?page_id=9) and it was created with a date and post, just like the blog. What if I wanted the same page, but a static one with thumbnails for images BUT with space for comments?

The code for the page.php file in my theme is:

<?php get_header(); ?>
<?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

<div id="post_data">
<div class="post_data">
<h2>Article written</h2>
<ul>
<li class="date">on <strong><?php the_time('d.m.Y') ?></strong></li>
<li class="time">at <strong><?php the_time('h:i A') ?></strong></li>
<li class="author">by <strong><?php the_author_link(); ?></strong></li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>

<div id="content">
<div class="post" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>">
<h3><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><span><?php the_title(); ?></span> <small><?php comments_number('0','1','%'); ?></small></a></h3>

<div class="social">
<h2>share this</h2>
<ul>
<li class="digg"><a href="http://digg.com/submit?url=<?php the_permalink() ?>&title=<?php the_title() ?>">Digg.com</a></li>
<li class="mixx"><a href="http://www.mixx.com/submit?page_url=<?php the_permalink() ?>">Mixx.com</a></li>
<li class="technorati"><a href="http://technorati.com/ping/?url=<?php the_permalink() ?>">Technorati</a></li>
<li class="delicious"><a href="http://delicious.com/save?url=<?php the_permalink() ?>&title=<?php the_title() ?>">del.icio.us</a></li>
<li class="facebook"><a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=<?php the_permalink() ?>">Facebook.com</a></li>
<li class="stumbleupon"><a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=<?php the_permalink() ?>&title=<?php the_title() ?>">StumbleUpon</a></li>
<li class="reddit"><a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=<?php the_permalink() ?>">reddit.com</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

<?php if ( $img = get_post_meta($post->ID, "image", true) ) { ?>
<div class="headline">
<a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>">
<img src="<?=$img?>" alt="" />
<span><?php the_time("M<b\i\g>j</b\i\g>") ?></span>
</a>
</div>
<? } else { ?>
<div class="date">
<span><?php the_time("M<b\i\g>j</b\i\g>") ?></span>
</div>
<? } ?>

<div class="text">
<?php the_content('continue reading &raquo;'); ?>

<p><?php wp_link_pages(array('before' => '<p><strong>Pages:</strong> ', 'after' => '</p>', 'next_or_number' => 'number')); ?></p>
</div>
</div>

<?php comments_template(); ?>
</div>

<?php endwhile; ?>

<?php include ('sidebar2.php'); ?>

<?php get_footer(); ?>

Please edit your above post and add
tags to wrap your code

enter what at the beginning and end of the code? I thought that's what ICODE was for.

ICODE is for inline code. CODE is for block code. There is no real reason in wrapping your code in ICODE tags over CODE.

My apologies, I hope its better now.
