PHPMailer CSS problem

Hi,
I have got a peculiar problem occurring when I am sending a html mail along with css embedded in the text of the mail. In CSS i have added a background image which is not showing in the email body although other css attributes like width,height are working fine. Also when I am sending the email with image directly embedded in the body,that is showing fine. Anyone has any idea? Thanks in advance.

Are you using the absolute path to your image in your background-image property (inside url() )?
background-image:url(http://yoursite.com/images/your-image.gif)

Yes,I'm using absolute path in the url of background image.
