I have been bouncing around an idea for a automotive motorsport community for 2 years now and have struggled due to the programming required. I am looking for someone to partner with who would be able to take on the programming and structure of the site. The main focus would be on listing motorsport events like track days and autocross events. Income would be generated by allowing organizations to list their events and provide them with a means to register participants online. Advertisements and premium "featured" event listings would also provide income. A name, Track Your Car, has been selected as well as a domain at www.trackyourcar.net .. There was a landing page there but I have been playing with a template idea.
Some of the core requirements of the site / coding will be...
-user registration and control panels
-event listings; categorized by type and regions (also premium listings for a fee)
-user registration for events, ability to pay via CC
-Event organizers can login and manage their event, payments and participants. Offering printable attendance lists, etc...
Compensation will be based on the success of our efforts. Motorsport events are a very large market and many clubs/organizations lack the programming to offer online registration.
Anyone interested in becoming a part of this project please email me @ akarch@comcast.net (mailto:akarch@comcast.net)
