I am having problems with IE8 (not sure if it is also a problem with IE 6 or 7 older??) with this page http://www.minifigtimes.com/football.shtml

The table is supposed to be positioned to the left of the main picture (stadium pic) and the text that is below the stadium pic.

I have removed all of the errors on I could (have 5 left that I cannot fix).

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.minifigtimes.com%2Ffootball.shtml&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0&verbose=1&user-agent=W3C_Validator%2F1.606

Can anyone please help me fix this?

PS: I am not in a position to edit the table code apart from the CSS and Table header as the code for the rest of the table I produce and import from another application (doesn't allow me edit) before producing it.

<title>The Minifig Times for all your Lego News</title>

<head>
<title> tag should be inside your <head> tag

<th width="205">Team</th> width should be specified in style/CSS

Remove the margin from the body tag and the table has enough room to fit up next to the floated right column. Adjust the size if you want something different.

Hi Jerry,

Not sure I understand what you mean.

The margins in the body are needed so that the page content does not span across the entire browser...

Not sure you are suggesting somethings else?
