Trouble With New Uploaded Website

Hi Guys,

I have multiple domains hosted with one account at Godaddy.com and the root. is www.example.com.

I just uploaded a new domain www.abcde.com. I used filezilla to upload abcde domain and on the host I put ftp.example.com/abcdefolder and used the same username and password.

Now when I opened the www.example.com it shows the www.abcde.com.

It is only homepage that is changed, all the other pages for www.example.com are intact.

now my question is how can I delete or remove the abcde.com site and restart again?

Open your site in FTP, browse through the server files, highlight the files that you don't want, and hit the delete key :)

At the moment i am doing it now but I think I hit ht wrong button and its deleting what I think are all the files in the directory. I just hope its not going to affect the other websites as I only opened the website that is in question.

You must be careful, because Filezilla allows you to browse the server files just like you would see them in Windows. This is nice to make it easier, but also can make you disoriented if you forget which window is the server and which is the computer. ALWAYS BACKUP TOO!

Just a follow to what happen to my little project. I really screwed up on this and I have to spend the whole day trying to re install the biggest of my website. its about 1500 pages and three more little ones. Anyways, I learned some lessons to be very careful with it and make I have back up.
Now its okay. Thanks again for your valuable advice.
