What do you have so far? A first attempt would be helpful to use as a jumping off point.

HI Msuffern,
Thank you for your answer.

About the results that I was able to achieve yet... well, not much... As soon as I think I am going to get a result, it is all breaking apart :(

Secondly, what I mean by “fixed to viewpoint” is:
.class { position: fixed }

The result that I expect is that:
“#banner, #leftnav, #footer, #breadcrumb (top yellow in my mockup), #bottom_ad (bottom yellow)”
completely fill the screen, top to bottom, without scrolling, so “fixed to the viewpoint”.

I have find that it is also possible to achieve the same result with:
.outdiv { height: 100%; position: relative }
.indiv { position: absolute; [top|right|bottom|left]: [0 or needed position] }

I also want all the rest : #maincontent, #right_ad to scroll using the browser main scrollbar, not one generated by #div { overflow: scroll }.

I hope all this is clear to you

I started with the famous Jello Mold layout (http://www.positioniseverything.net/articles/sidepages/pie-calc.php?fixed=728&maxsite=1004&maxwin=1280)

Then tried to use some parts of this http://www.oswt.co.uk/xhtml_css_layouts/style/LayoutGala13.html

inside the Jello Mold, +some trying to fix parts of it, but unsuccesfully.

From there, it is getting much trickier...

Hope you will be able to help
