transparent PNG hitTest problems

I have the shapeFlag set to true, but it seems to just test the bounding box, it returns true even on transparent pixels.

It works fine on vector images but not on a png, is it possible to test transprarent images with AS2?

Perhaps you can put a hidden button behind it, and then hittest the button?

So does that mean Flash is unable to hitTest bitmaps alltogether?

I have never tried with transparent images before, but I imagine that it might not see it as part of the outline. Otherwise it should work with graphics fine far as I can tell/have noticed.
