I have just re-installed Windows XP - IE7- Dreamweaver - Fireworks - Flash.

The problem is that when I try to save a webpage in IE7 all the files in the Save dialogue box come up in reverse order (Z-A). It is also the same in Dreamweaver, Fireworks & Flash.

This wasn't the case before re-installation.

To change this to be (A-Z) I have right-click the dialogue box then on the Arrange Icons By click on Name every time I wish to save a file.

Can anyone please help me to get all my the software including IE7 to save all files in the correct order (A-Z) permanently.

It is also the same in the Open dialogue box when trying to open files.

All help much appreciated.

I'm about 80% certain that this is you're chosen OS sorting.
Go to the folder you're searching through, and at the top of the display frame it will show something like Name, Size, Modified Date, etc. Click on them to change you're ordering, which the OS normally saves. Thats all you should need to do.
You can also save this setting to all of you're folders by going to tools > folder options > view > apply to all folders.
That includes all of the settings you have, which may or may not be desireable.
By default, I think windows orders by creation time from oldest to newest.

I have tried the above (bold text) but the OS does not save it.
In Windows itself it is ok. The problem is in the OPEN and SAVE dialogue boxes.
