Button to text field?

So I'm busting my head trying to make this happen (ya, I'm gimpin it with Adobe/macromedia Flash)

I know how to make buttons, navigation bars, etc...

but I want to make an image that disappears when I roll over it, and displays an input text field...well not fully disappear, but have the text on the image disappear and an input text field appear:

ideas? if you need me to be a tad more clear, let me know.

Right now it just rolls over, displays the text field, but when I go to type, the original image reappears.

I need you to be more clear, are you accepting input from the text box or just displaying text? What exactly is the purpose here?

ok, ya, huge apology, I was pretty tired when I wrote this. Basically:

I have an image 349x332 with Text in the middle of it (this is photoshop made and is neither editable or highlight-able)

When I scroll over this image, I want the text in the middle of this image to disappear and have the background and a text field to pop up. This text field being writable, for it is to be 2 login boxes (username and password)

I have two files with the image, one with the text and one without; I can get as far as to hover over the image and have the text disappear, and a box pop up to write in, but as I enter the box with my mouse it merely flashes back to the original image.

I was thinking of making it along the lines of a rollover button, so as I cross a certain path, the original text disappears, and as I recross that path (or frame), it returns.
