Hi All,

I am creating a similar site to http://www.myshadicards.com/ and like the colours that are used on the site (Orange and Red). I have got a template and would like help in creating an attractive colour scheme. I am not very creative. Can someone advise on what coulours they think will look good on my current template. I am not a big fan of the Grey on there at the moment.

Thanks.

If you have a photo editing / graphics program like Photoshop, Illustrator or GIMP, you can take a screenshot and use the eyedropper tool to get the exact hex color codes (e.g. #abcdef) from the site you have linked. Additionally, here are some sites you might find useful in developing your own color scheme:

In addition to the links above, check out http://kuler.adobe.com for some color pallets or to create your own.

Forgot to add the link to the website at the moment:

As mentioned, it is a free template.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks.

if you use FF you can get the add on called color picker and this will let you grab the hex codes for any colour on whatever site you look at.

that should be colorzilla

A very good CSS Color Chart (http://www.somacon.com/p142.php). Firefox's add-on is much quicker plus there are some very good additional web tool add-ons.

use Colorzilla, that's enough for your problem.
