DVD to Ipod

Hello all.
Any of you know of a way to rip a DVD with iTunes or make it playable on the iPod?

Handbrake can do this but it doesn't get around decryption. DVDFab has a program that might be useful as well but it dvd to mobile option isn't free though they offer a free trial.
