I was just wondering, my website is not viewing the same way in different browsers. In Firefox, its perfect, but in other browsers like Chrome and IE, the sidebars are middle-aligned and the formatting is all messed up. How would you solve this problem?
My site is listed as my signature.

best practice is to install all 3 browsers to test and correct as needed, I don;t think there is just one answer to solve the cross browser issues.

You can check it at browsershots.org and see how it looks on a gazillion different browsers.

My first step would be to make sure that the site has valid markup. One good validator is at http://validator.w3.org. I use it all the time. Once all markup is validated, I would review on various browsers and correct for difference after that. You might also consider using the css vaidator at http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ for further insights.
According the the validator, your home page at 71 errors. Time for some cleanup!
