First Attempt

Hello, I am in the process of creating my own website dedicated to myspace, facebook and possibly other social networks.

I was looking around for a similar website with somewhat the same ideas and came across this one: http://www.layoutshack.net/images/

I was hopoing to use something like joomla or wordpress. Any idea what is being used on this website?

Hi and welcome to CF!

Well I don't see any code in the source that shows the kind of system used, and neither the Joomla administrator nor WP Admin folders are on the server. So if they are using WP or Jooma, then they have hidden it well. I don't think they are.

I'm not familiar with too many other CMSs on a level that I can tell by the code, but it looks very clean and almost like its been hand coded. Sorry, not sure.

However you could use either WP or Joomla to achieve this same effect. I personally would use Joomla, but I might be a little biased.

Wordpress or Joomla can surely give you that same effect, but if I were you go Wordpress because of the variety of templates that they offer, who knows you might find something that exactly looks the same with the site that you gave. Best of Luck.
