Opening Page

I wonder if anyone can inform me as to what this javascript effect / action is known by.

Opening web page, solid colour boxes slide down, enter from left, right, and underneath, then form a rectangle with active links.

Fairly simple i am sure to users of this page, but not to me.

I checked the "view source" but simply reads "javascript".

That's flash, not javascript.

hey EPREX, dont worry, we all have to start somewhere....!!! :p

the animated images seen on that site you were looking at are flash I think... (macromedia flash)... the Javascript in the source code simply sets up the flash file and detects the browser you are looking through......
