Help needed with javascript:openimage

Hi guys,

I've done some web design for the past year (no official training), but I am completely new to javascript. I use Dreamweaver CS3 and would like to know if someone can help me implement the javascript : openimage behaviour on a gallery of thumbnail images, by which a user can click on the small image, and a larger version appear on the same page (but not as a pop-up window). I think you want Lightbox. There are many different lightbox scripts so you should use lightbox clones matric (http://planetozh.com/projects/lightbox-clones/) to find out which lightbox is right for you. The usual choice is Lightbox 2 (http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/)
