I was wondering is it possible to create motion tweens used for animated navigation menus and sliding thumbnail gallerys without the use of the flash. I was thinking maybe javascript or more java seeing as it has a much more robust graphics element to it. Does any one know if this is possible, if so what language and any links that explain this more in a tutorial for example.
Thanks a lot

Perfect! Thank you so much, its been bothering me that I would need to pay for and learn flash to do this kind of stuff. I dont know about you but I find flash tedious and anal, which was the exact reason I got out of animation.
Thanks a lot this is a world of help
