Small Problem with Default text.

I want my text to be Verdana , but when i type it's in "default Times" i've tryed changeing it but i cant seem to find out how , i added this (face="verdana") to the body tag but it didnt work , can anyone help

the 'text' stuff doesnt just a go® into the body tag...thattts where the background stuff goes...:O)))
